A settled pocket of south west Sydney
Hinchinbrook sits between Hoxton Park and Green Valley, about 35km south west of the Sydney CBD in the Liverpool area. It is an established suburb, which shows in the mature streets, local parks and sporting fields within the surrounding blocks. Nothing about it is flashy, and that is its appeal: it is a genuinely calm place to live.
Shops, health and transport
Valley Plaza at Green Valley is the closest main shopping precinct, with Westfield Liverpool a short drive for bigger trips. Liverpool Hospital is the main hospital for the area.
There is no station in Hinchinbrook. Liverpool is roughly 8km away, about 20 minutes by road, and the area is well covered by buses. Independent travel is realistic here, but it is bus based rather than rail based, and we plan around that honestly.
Inside the home
Our Hinchinbrook SIL home has comfortable shared spaces, a generous front yard and tailored on-site support. It suits people who want outdoor space without maintenance worries, and a household that values quiet routine.
