SIL in Edmondson Park: Independence with a Step-Free Station
Lifts at the station, a town centre next door and light-filled interiors. Why Edmondson Park is our strongest home for independent travel goals.

The station changes everything
Edmondson Park is one of Sydney's newer suburbs, planned around its own station, which opened in 2015 and is served by T2 Leppington and T5 Cumberland Line trains. The station has lifts between street level, the concourse and the platforms, and it is staffed from 6am to 7pm every day.
For anyone who uses a wheelchair or finds stairs difficult, step-free access at the local station is not a nice extra. It is the difference between independent travel being a goal on paper and something you actually do on a Tuesday.
A town centre next door
Ed.Square town centre sits beside the station with a supermarket, shops, cafes and a cinema, so an outing does not have to mean a long journey. Liverpool Hospital is a short drive north and Westfield Liverpool is close for bigger shopping trips.
Inside the home
Our Edmondson Park SIL home has light-filled interiors, an accessible bathroom and tailored on-site support, in a suburb where everything is newer and closer than you might expect. It particularly suits participants whose plans include building travel skills and community access, because the suburb makes both genuinely achievable.
Next steps

It includes an accessible bathroom and light-filled, modern interiors. Tell us your specific access needs and we will confirm fit honestly, or point you to our SDA homes in Narellan and Campbelltown if a higher design standard is what you need.
