What life in South West Sydney looks like.
South West Sydney is where AllCare started and where most of our homes are. We have five SIL homes across the Liverpool and Campbelltown areas, each in a settled residential street rather than a compound or a complex, with on-site support around the clock.
Transport is better here than people expect, and it differs street by street, which is exactly why we spell it out per home. Macquarie Fields has its own station on the T8 Airport and South Line. Edmondson Park station opened in 2015 with lifts to every platform, a real advantage for anyone who uses a wheelchair or finds stairs difficult. Prestons, Carnes Hill and Hinchinbrook are bus-served, and we factor travel skills into each person's support plan.
Liverpool Hospital, one of the largest in south west Sydney, is close to the Prestons, Carnes Hill and Hinchinbrook homes, and Campbelltown Hospital is a short drive from Macquarie Fields. For day to day life there is Glenquarie Town Centre, Ed.Square beside Edmondson Park station, Carnes Hill Marketplace and the 70,000 square metre Carnes Hill Community and Recreation Precinct with its library, gym, courts and skate park.

Which South West Sydney suburbs does AllCare have SIL homes in?
Macquarie Fields, Edmondson Park, Prestons, Carnes Hill and Hinchinbrook. Macquarie Fields currently has the most rooms available, in modern studio-style living with personalised daily support.
Can I get around South West Sydney without a car?
It depends on the suburb, and we are honest about that. Macquarie Fields and Edmondson Park have their own train stations, so independent travel by rail is realistic there. Prestons, Carnes Hill and Hinchinbrook are served by buses toward Liverpool, and support workers can drive where the plan includes it.
Which hospitals serve the area?
Liverpool Hospital is the major hospital for the Liverpool side, close to our Prestons, Carnes Hill and Hinchinbrook homes. Campbelltown Hospital is a short drive from Macquarie Fields. Regular appointments do not have to be a mission.
How quickly can someone move in?
Once funding and compatibility checks are done, a move can happen in weeks rather than months. The pace is set by you, your family and your support coordinator, never by us pushing.
